This weighted blanket is beautifully designed with an even weight that can be easily adjusted by knitting. This comforter is queen size but can be spread out on king size bed as the comforter knots stretch quite a bit. The weight is inside the yarn, but when it's placed on you, it feels like you're well "dressed" and your body starts to relax. I read that this is just over 10% of your body weight. is the appropriate weight for a weighted blanket. Although this is the first weighted blanket I have owned, I have already experienced the benefits and other results of using a weighted blanket to sleep. I'm currently 130 pounds so from what I've read 15 pounds is within my range of use. I've found for the first time that when I first go to bed it calms my body down. Underneath I use a lighter duvet and sometimes at night I remove the weighted duvet as it is too warm with both duvets. However, by that point in the night I had already fallen into a deep sleep mode that I can easily return to. I've found that the weight helps with my anxiety and overthinking, allowing me to fall asleep faster. The only issue I have with this blanket is the color; it is a creamy beige color but combined with a knitted pattern it looks almost unsightly. The appearance is reminiscent of raw ramen noodles. It doesn't match the colors or decor of our room; however, it is fully functional, so the choice of color can be neglected. Overall, this design is one of the best I've seen in terms of functionality and design. all the weight in the yarn. In this regard, cleaning is not a problem as the weight does not shift during the wash cycle. After washing, I let it air dry for a day. It feels very soft and the pressure it exerts at night is very soothing. I would recommend this weighted comforter as I know the color is too creamy and weird. If color doesn't matter, but functionality is more important to you, it's worth buying. It had a noticeable positive impact on my ability to fall asleep at night.
