It's best used for quick short messages, but due to the input method that makes it a timely text alternative, you're probably better off just whipping out your phone. The ability to use this SmartWatch without connecting to the phone via Bluetooth is possible thanks to the ability to insert a SIM card into the watch itself. This way you can not carry your phone around and still make calls and send text messages when needed. The downside to this is the loss of internet/social media connectivity, which has become a necessity for many. Luckily, the affordable $50 price tag makes these smartwatches a solid choice. In my opinion, the price compensates well for the shortcomings described above. As with all BLU devices, the price will increase in the future. So if you're not buying a watch now, I'd suggest looking elsewhere when the price goes up.
