The results of my dive yesterday were amazing. I've tried other filters in the past and they didn't seem to make a significant difference. This one (especially the 50ft+ filter) is more red than orange, so maybe that's the difference. It was also my first attempt at using a filter on the Hero 5, so maybe GoPro's ProTune played a role as well. In any case, the colors in the filtered frames are absolutely brilliant. I will never dive without this filter again. It's good. The bad side: The filter frame is pressed against the supersuit and stays there through friction. It doesn't take much effort to take it off, and it doesn't take much imagination to see the frame detach and fall off during a giant step. However, yesterday I took two such shots and the frame stayed in place. YMMV Likewise, the filter is inserted into the frame and held there by gravity and (minimal) friction. I was concerned enough that I had lost the filter which I kept in my BC bag until I got to depth. And again UMMV.
