This is a beautiful dress that can be worn on or left off. The fabric is medium to heavy weight so I wouldn't wear it in the heat of summer but it's a good transitional piece for spring, fall, winter and early summer until it gets too hot. I'm 5'2", apple shaped and usually wear L or XL. Following the sizing guidelines, I ordered XXL and it fits perfectly, hiding my big belly without being tight or making me look pregnant. The length is a few inches below my knee so it will look cute with a chunky sweater and boots, pumps or sandals.I ordered a black one that doesn't show through and am very happy to find a dress that I can wear without a tank top or sweater to cover up Church can wear Love Love Love!
