To be honest this isn't the dress I originally wanted so I might hate it too much. This is a good backup dress for the photo shoot we are doing. I read some reviews about the strange smell but we didn't have that problem. My daughter is almost 4 feet tall and weighs 50 pounds. She normally wears a size 6 but she's slowly outgrowing it so we took a size 8. It fits almost perfectly. A little long and a little loose in the shoulders, but the waist fits perfectly. In both photos below a ring skirt. Without them, the dress falls straight down like an A-line dress. The color is exactly as described and it is a beautiful dress. Not translucent and not super thin, but I'd still recommend being careful with the material. Underneath is a layer of fabric that's about knee-length, which is a bit odd, but no big deal. Overall, for $30, I don't get mad or regret my purchase.
