Review on Hoots Naturals Organic Butter Fragrance by Kathy Morgan

I've been using this balm since it arrived and it's very good. thought to add about 15-20% beeswax. But now a few days later I don't think I will as I've found it tames my unruly mustache quite well and goes on like a breeze. Short (1/2 inch) beard so the balm works great on the beard/face as a conditioner/emollient and also smooths out most of my stray mustache hairs. This material also makes my lips feel soft as my mustache constantly touches my lips a little - an added and unexpected bonus. One of the main reasons I ordered this one and not some of the other offerings was that it has virtually no odor. I was almost certain that some of the flavored foods would be gross to my nose. I wanted to be able to control this or have an unscented product. That being said, I've occasionally added a drop or two of Two Bit Woods oils for a quick morning boost. Used very subtly, this oil doesn't have that overpowering, unctuous hipster-falst-forester smell. I have had a beard and stash for over 40 years and have used all sorts of face and beard products. I have to admit that this Hoot's Balm is the best I've ever tried. For years I have used my own blend of beeswax, lanolin and mineral oil. Nowhere does a balm come close for ease of use or even the hair and face conditioning I get from a balm. Easy to use, non-greasy, soothing, pleasant to the touch, manages unruly hair well without the heavy wax. recommended !
