The instructions say to fill the container with about 2cm between the drink and the neck, but they mean where the neck starts. I filled it up to the part (where the neck of the bottle is) and it leaked a little. Other than that, this article is great. It doesn't transfer heat at all. So, for the love of yourself, if you value your gums, lips, and tongue, DO NOT rely on the temperature on the outside of this thing to determine when it's safe to drink from. I've learned to tell the temperature by how quickly my glasses fog up when I open the lid. This item keeps drinks hot for a long time. So when you get where you're going, remove the lid and let it rest for a bit (I'm easily distracted, so leaving it for half an hour isn't a big deal for me). If half an hour is a big deal for you, grab a coffee beforehand to get started. No idea about the low temp part because I haven't tried it. Even if you're a touch person, the bottle feels like a combination of metal and very, very, very soft rubber or vinyl. I like how it feels. How much. But I've seen how it can bother someone. When I first felt it, my brain didn't know how to interpret the feeling and always thought the bottle would be sticky, but that's not the case at all. It's really nice and soft.
