Review on Radio Flyer Classic Walker Wagon by Derick Carpenter

The pediatrician is here - love these baby walkers :)

Christmas present for a 6 month old baby. At first she liked to sit in it while we pushed her, but now at 13 months she loves to climb in and out, put things in and out, push it around the house and sometimes the garden (but we keep it inside) . Due to the beautiful, classic look, we keep it "out of the house" in our living room and I don't flinch when I walk past it :) As a baby walker, it's not as easy to handle as the little plastic feet. However, as a pediatric assistant who often works with children to help them walk, I appreciate this about him: they learn to stay upright just as easily as others (they still can, so obviously they stick around). 2. It doesn't have a million distracting buttons/rattles/lights that are more interesting to a child than trying to figure out how to walk. I've never understood why other hikers have everything "extra". Even after our LO got in and out a few times, we haven't had a problem with wooden sides breaking. I will inform you when this happens. Four stars only because I understand the price is high compared to other hikers and may not be worth it for many. EDIT: A piece of wood came loose shortly after my initial check, and now more than a year after you got it out (using it indoors/outdoors with a toddler scrambling back and forth) more pieces of wood are coming loose. Leaving 4 stars as it's still a favorite here with my now 20 month old :) Adding again - my almost 2.5 year old daughter recently had an EXPLOSION and took turns with her little friend mutually crossing the hallway pushed along.
