Review on DJI HDMI Output Module Part 54: Stream Superior Quality Videos from Phantom 3 Pro/Adv/Phantom 4/Phantom 4 Pro/Adv to External Devices by German Diaz

Let me tell you what you're going through. Of course there are YouTube videos and I've watched a few and they helped with the installation but none of them tell you how to update the firmware on your controller. My first attempt was to use The DJI Assistant 2, it scared me and said it wanted to go back to factory settings. I clicked on it and it worked for a few seconds and just stuck there. (DJI Assistant will not update your new board!) I even plugged my first board back into the controller and same thing. thought this was the end and i fried my controller with this new board. Then I connected my iPad and turned on the wifi and BOOM it did an UPDATE to my new board installed in the controller. Just thought I'd share this information if you're facing the same problem as me to save you some headaches. My setup was in my new Phantom 4 Pro. Much luck! :-)
