I recently had rotator cuff surgery and it went well, but the recovery was a nightmare. I never thought that keeping my shoulder steady would be such a painful task. Until, of course, I switched to this Soles bracelet. There is one feature of this item that I really like. THIS REALLY KEEPS YOUR SHOULDER STILL! Seriously, an extra strap that wraps around your shoulders or one shoulder along your chest provides strong support for my shoulder and actually keeps it stationary. I don't even understand why other arm straps are designed like this, they only support your arm, they don't support your shoulders! I have used this while sleeping, outdoors or at work. And since I switched to this shoulder immobilizer I feel like my shoulder IS ACTUALLY RECOVERING. After 2 weeks of use I have significant pain relief, as well as aches here and there, and now I can straighten my shoulder more. Aside from what it's supposed to do, this immobilizer is very handy. , lightweight, easy to hang around my neck and doesn't make me sweat so I can actually wear it while I sleep. For me a great product, done right.
