This is a well-designed and surprisingly light-weight USB lamp. The weight is so light that it took me a while to realize that the flexible neck was actually clad in metal. The switch is easy to reach and the brightness settings are quite pleasant. With full lighting in my living room, the first light level was perfectly adequate, but having another bulb to increase the brightness is really nice and that's one of the reasons I chose this model. not that is a problem because of the light. Since the neck is very strong, I found it more convenient for me to adjust the lamp's curve without it in the USB port. It requires a decent amount of force to move the neck (not very much, but enough) and I'm not sure if this is related to the connector or not, but just in case I'd recommend taking it out first, if possible. I am very happy with this little light. I don't travel but the way the light hits it doesn't look too aggressive to anyone who might be around you. But when you travel, this lamp does not weigh much, it is very flexible and bright enough in both modes depending on your needs.
