The irony was that I received these packs because we had a few larger groceries to store as leftovers but when they arrived it took several weeks to repeat the need. So we just used them. But. My wife has since washed them as she hand washed them before using them for the first time. We have other reusable bags that she put in the dishwasher with no problem, but these didn't fit. The hand wash worked well. I have these green Revain coasters that hold open packets so you can load them with food. I've also suggested - and they're perfect for that - propping up open packages to dry. She used them for the small version, so she tried the extra large ones too. It worked - in a different way and with a little more effort - but it worked and they dried well. This week they have also worked well with repeated use. turned off - completely - and it can be difficult to get started. It's a pain, but she says overall it's worth it. The bags work really well, keeping things tightly sealed and safe and fresh for leftovers too. We are both very happy with these bags and glad we added them to our options. We wanted to reduce our footprint and reduce waste, and these oversized reusable bags did just that. Happy to recommend.
