These watercolors are great! I'm new to using watercolors but I've bought other watercolor sets and noticed the difference right away. The colors are bright, crisp and well pigmented, and easy to activate. This is a beautiful set of 48 complete pans. A few metallic colors are fine. Some colors are a bit opaque. Once light grey, white and lavender. The only downside is that the pots fit loosely in a flat box and they don't have a color name on the top of the pots. The color information is on the bottom of each pot and on the box where it is located. It includes a table of colors and titles for you to refer to. It also includes a table with names and empty squares for you to color in. I made the mistake of turning the box over and all the pans fell out. None of them were damaged, but it took a little while to get each one in place, but it wasn't difficult. The box is simple but very pretty. This will be a very good gift. This is a quality set and I will definitely order this set again!
