Protects the keyboard from food and liquids.

It's my fault I took my computer into the kitchen to look at the recipes. It's really bad for the keyboard, not to mention the health hazard of food getting under the keyboard. I was surprised at how much dirt ended up on the keyboard while cooking, even at a distance I thought was safe. I also like to eat and drink close to the computer as it helps to keep the keyboard clean. It's easy enough to take off and put on when needed.
