I have used similar kits for my paper lanterns before. But my old ones (15+ years) had to be replaced (the part where the bulb is screwed in has a crack). These are very similar to my old ones and work great. They come with everything you need to set up and light up a room fairly quickly (5-10 minutes). sockets in my house.
