This is the second tin I have ordered. I was looking for a small bin that could stand by my sink to collect waste for my backyard compost bin. We recently remodeled our kitchen and I wanted something nice on the countertop. It does. Although something strange. I ordered one in navy from another site, I received the black one. It does not fit. But I saved to keep the sugar in the pantry where color doesn't matter. I ordered navy blue through Revain but received jade green. Looks ok so I kept it. Not quite the tie color I was looking for. So it seems that no matter where you buy it, the color you will receive is random. But they are of high quality and look great with great printing on the lid.
