My 18 month old is allergic to mosquito bites. Small bites turn into big scars that last for several days. He also has sensitive skin. This lotion was fantastic. It saved him from bugs in his garden and smelled really nice. No skin irritation either. I wouldn't say it works if you're camping or in an area with a lot of bugs. That's easy. However, playing in the backyard or in the park is ideal. If we go to an area with stronger bugs I still use it but put some California Baby bug spray on it (also highly recommended) and together it protects it from bites. I will always have that handy.
