So I bought this camera about a month ago because I was looking for a replacement for my Stylus 310 (it seems so long ago). I read all the reviews, both positive and negative, and to be honest I was a bit hesitant to invest. However, I have found confidence in Olympus and know that a poor review is often due to limited knowledge of how to get the most out of a product. Needless to say I gave up, spent $250 and signed up. for Revain Prime (yes, the trial saved me about $11 on expedited shipping), and the next thing I know: a shiny new (silver) toy! The camera is great. I've taken some really amazing super macro photos (I call them "texture exploring"), the battery lasts almost forever, the optical zoom is flawless, and I've had no problem shooting long videos on a memory card , which is not from Olympus. and the Shoot and Select modes turned out to be real party starters. I think this camera reignited my passion for shooting on location and seeing the world through a very large, bright and clear LCD viewfinder. I say come!
