I love this watch! I've been wearing it every day since September and it's holding up really well. I don't wear it in the shower and take it off when I think I might get it dirty. I had to remove the strap and wash it once (only with hand soap in the sink) and it washed well. Being a clumsy person I hit this thing pretty hard a couple of times and luckily it doesn't scratch easily. It doesn't stick to anything, the strip doesn't scratch at all. I have very small wrists (5.25 inches) and wear the strap on the second neckline from the smallest. I figured I would have to cut off the extra strap as there was so much but found I could just fold it underneath. Works great on its own (see photo).!
