I think it's a great set if you know what you're doing. My teenage daughter waited a few hours before we got a trick or treat to play around with. She managed to get 2 scars on her face with a lot of "blood", but she was disappointed that the skin makeup stuck to her fingers. I think some reviews mentioned putting a small amount of vegetable oil on the fingers to help with this problem, but I didn't remember that until it was all said and done. The color of the blood is very realistic and the makeup blends well with the skin.
