The lack of assembly instructions can make it difficult for some, especially if you've never assembled it before. Please note that you mount the stand on the brackets that you attached to the TV, which is placed face down on the table. Do not try to lift the TV and place it on the stand. Yes, common sense should tell you that, but since common sense seems too uncommon these days, this should be noted in the instructions. I can't imagine how this mount could be any better. It's solid, well built, durable and the tempered glass base looks the best. Just the right size and color to match our lazy black Susan. People with a narrow piece of furniture that doesn't fit wide feet like they now set up TVs, or who need a pedestal for another reason like ours will find this to be perfect for their needs.
