So I tried these boots and was skeptical. I have a very athletic, stocky gelding. He's a 1-2D pole and barrel horse all day, wherever you take him. I don't have many boots that I choose for professional choice and I get maybe 1/4 of a season from a pair of Iconoclasts. it catches the velcro just enough to damage the boot or rip enough seams to be unusable. Well, to be honest, I was pretty skeptical about buying bell boots for $45. Absolutely worth the money. I can throw it freely in just flared boots and they don't spin. They are sized correctly for the length so I don't understand what you get with other boots that are a bit too long for a stockier horse. I was so happy. They sit where they have to, don't rub, don't bother him at all. I'm excited. I will definitely buy more of these. Hands down the best bells I've found.
