What makes this a night serum basically is that it is a little bit thicker, or denser, than your regular facial serum. Also, the long hours of the night help to allow this to work deep within the skin to prepare you for your morning skincare preparation. Honestly, if you prefer a denser facial serum, there is no reason why you can't use this for your day serum if you prefer. Though it will take a few minutes to fully set, once it does, it's not really all that sticky or tacky. Absorbs well and is not oily or greasy either, although I'd give it maybe an hour to go to bed after application so as not to mess up your pillowcases. Makes skin look and feel soft and conditions quite well.
