We were so happy to find this for my 8 year old daughter. She asked for a waterproof FitBit and it sounded like it was spot on with features and price and something an 8 year old could use. Unfortunately it had its own charging cable and did not charge the product. I spent hours trying to keep the charger plugged in. It was very unstable as the cotton was very loose and didn't connect to anything but just sat on the loading metal. I tried a longer USB extension cable to keep the charger from detaching from the watch, but that didn't work. Pros: Large size, shape and fit for an 8 year old girl. Disadvantages: Too short charging cable. "The metal-on-metal charging process will not remain tied.
