Pros: Great gun, and I mean it. Very well designed. This thing releases ammo as fast as Prometheus or Nemesis. Very well built, very ergonomic. Great for adults looking for an "airsoft" experience. Nonetheless. Cons: The biggest downside is those little rubber Hyper HURT cartridges. They are smaller and denser than traditional competitor projectiles, ideal for compact ammo bays and range. But they sting. This weekend we had a nerf war at our house with a group of 10-14 year olds where my son used his new Hyper Mach-100 and made a 12 year old boy cry by hitting him multiple times. And this baby was definitely not a 'baby', we examined him and he had red welts at the impact sites which later swelled up. Other kids also complained that it was too much and we ended up removing him from the fight. We're going to bring this weapon back and stick with the normal rounds of enemy nerfs. It will most likely replace Nemesis, which is the same basic concept but uses normal enemy turns that don't do as much damage. The gun is awesome, but people should be aware that this is a big step up from the 'regular' Nerf guns in the pain department, especially if you're buying them for young kids who rarely wear goggles etc.
