I don't use makeup so I don't know how well they remove it. I just use one every night to cleanse my face before bed. In the first pack I received they smelled a little to me but I used them anyway. I forgot I had them in my subscription and am saving and got another pack this month. The ones I got this month smelled very different. They smell like fresh pineapple. They smell good. So I gave it a 4 for the smell alone because I don't know if I got a disgusting batch last month that smelled like rotten pineapple and I got the real taste with this packaging this time. ? I think I'll find out next month.
