Review on Cozy Unisex Baby Sweatshirt: Autumn Cotton Long Sleeve Shirt with Sun and Rainbow Design by Tommy Bagg

I loved the design of this shirt and like I said it's all cotton I was really looking forward to our child wearing this shirt. When I took the black lion shirt out of the box, I noticed that it was quite see-through in the rather dim light. Obviously this isn't the cotton sweatshirt material I was hoping for. The lining for the lion pattern is much, much thicker than the fabric of the shirt, and the lining and applique are crisp and noisy. The yarn around the ring wasn't cotton - it was more the fringe yarn found on a vintage 1970's polyester rug. The description on the website, as well as the description on the packaging, states that the material is cotton. Then I looked at the tag attached to the t-shirt - it says it's 100% POLYESTER. What a disappointment! We really try to wear only natural fabrics to ensure comfort and durability. Polyester just makes my baby freeze, so this is unacceptable. Too bad because the lion shirt is really adorable and looked exactly the same in real life as it did online. Unfortunately this item is going back. It wasn't advertised stuff.
