Do not buy!: Lighting and ceiling fans

This ceiling fan is not for craftsmen or dexterous hands. The instructions are wrong and vague. Missing parts. The battery for the remote control is not included, it is an odd size and has no indication of what to buy. I ended up having to hire a contractor to install the two I bought. I need to take my remote to a battery store to have them figure out what I need. One of the two fans was defective and since it took me so long to install it, the fan went through the return window. My craftsman disassembled and repaired the motor. The standard Edison bulbs shown on the display will not fit so after much searching I was able to find one that would work. The only thing I would give one star for is the value for money because if everything was easy to install, worked, would know what battery I need for the remote control. This can be good value for money as the actual quality seems decent.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Minor problems
