Overall this is a great toy and I'm still glad I bought it even though it got 4 stars. I received 4 unique balls. Benefits: Keep kids interested in rattling balls. My kids love the penguin the most. No leaks. Fun in and out of the bath. (My son loves to crawl around and chase them in the playroom). In fact, I think they're more comfortable outside of the bath. Cons: Not all balls are interesting. My kids love the ones that make sounds or light up differently when moved. Some didn't do anything that didn't interest my infant or growing children (they are currently 4, 3 and 8 months and I bought them about 2 years ago). The plastic on the outside is not transparent. . We have pretty hard water but it would take a lot of effort to keep the plastic clean. With regular use they always seem to have some tarnishing on the outside of the plastic and this occurred from the first use.
