I needed a screen door that goes through sheet metal. Our screened patio is screened on top and metal on the bottom. I ordered this product hoping that with some minor modifications I could get it working. It worked very simply. You will need 6 #6 mounting screws and #6 acorn nuts. I bought both from Home Depot for less than $3. First, I cut a hole in the metal, slightly larger than the hole, with the doze tool. Then I clamped both sides together through the hole. Using a drill, I drilled six screw holes on either side. I put the nuts on the outside and used acorn nuts to secure them on the inside. There is a small gap between the two parts, but it does not affect the use or the appearance. Overall a great product.
