Review on DailyShoes Women'S Pointed Toe Ankle Strap Slip-On Flats - Comfy And Casual by Corey Holloway

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Lovely slippers, at least half size too small

Just received these today: They look just like the picture and the quality is good, with a nice suede-like finish, firm but flexible spine with zipper, sturdy straps, and a color closer to a neutral pastel pink than mauve (though I see what they are getting at by calling it "mauve," we are to think of a more delicate pink and not a harsh Barbie-like pink). The problem, alas, is with the size: this 8.5 is a good half-size too small for my 8.5-sized foot; for reference, the length of my foot measures exactly 9.68 inches, and an 8.5 should accommodate at least 9.7-8 inches of length. A size 9 should accommodate on average 10 inches; I am hoping to find a successful fit with a size 9 in the same shoe, but do have some misgivings about whether or not to go up further--since these are flat, it would be nice to have room for a softer insole. The width of this shoe is fine for me, but others will need to take into account that it is a medium, neither narrow nor wide. These are going back, but should I go for the 9, I will definitely leave a review for it. Good luck to you--at least you know now that the quality is commensurate with, or a bit better than the price!
