A strong feeling, but will it go away?

I wanted a durable necklace for my wife for Christmas and this one definitely fits. However, I have yet to see if it goes away or breaks my wife's neck. I don't know what "layered gold" is, the description on the website looks slightly different than when I received it and found it to be "layered" rather than solid. Let's see.

It was delivered on time. I like the necklace.

Cons

The diamond-cut texture can snag on clothing or hair, causing discomfort or damaging the necklace.
