I was trying to purchase a BraBaby laundry ball for my C cup bras and found that the BraBaby size and design did not match my soft cup bras. So I bought these instead to help me wash my padded bras in my top load washing machine [which has an after agitator]. I attach the Velcro to the straps on the back of the bra, stack the cups on top of each other [by tucking one cup into the other], and tuck the straps between the bra cups, or at least inside the cups. Then I close and fasten the lid and put it in the bowl and in the washing machine. I wash bras in cages with a medium number of towels, on a cool or warm cycle, with a mild detergent like Woolite, and on a light cycle. There is some lint between the cups during washing but I clean it out before hanging the bra to dry. I've been using them for a few months and the lid cages are still holding up.
