I had bruises and skin damage before I bought these post-op underwear. Once I put them under my clothes there was a difference in comfort day and night. I can move pain free and my postoperative bruises are finally healing without the direct pressure of clothing! The only downside is that the extra bulk will increase overall pressure, so don't do anything that significantly expands your torso while wearing it. Avoid overeating, deep breathing, and coughing/sneezing if you can. But this product is worth it!
