Nice sturdy rail - accessory
Bought to balance a heavy astrophotography setup. The splint is strong and has good properties. My only suggestion for improvement is that it would be nice if the rail had mounting plates on either side so you can mount the main camera on the top and the sight or laser pointer on the bottom. However, the standard 1/4-20 camera screws are not long enough to go all the way through and screw into the bottom mounted unit.
