Review on Frontpet Backseat Extender - Pet Bridge for Trucks, SUVs, and Full-Sized Sedans - Car Backseat Platform Cover Barrier with Divider Restraint by Jennifer Manning

Revainrating 4 out of 5

ideal for a 90lb senior dog with shaky hips

I now have a car with rear seats that recline instead of lying flat. I was planning some long trips with my decrepit dog and didn't want to use the larger flat bed I use in my truck so I decided to give this one a try. With a couple of old towels under the seat in the "wells" and a LL Bean protective pet cover over those that have the front apron folded in for added stability, this platform goes with everything and adds nicely to the rear seating area and forms a good level. Bed. I put some thick blankets over it for more comfort. My dog won't stand/hang in the front seat so he's fine with the strength/stability. The tethers/velcro seems like an unreliable attachment system, but no problems now after a few months. People with large dogs who always want to be at the forefront may have different ideas.
