This is my first running vest and I think it's perfect. There are plenty of pockets to store your essentials. I didn't use a water bag because I usually only take bottles with me. I also walk with my dog and can also pack their things. I love the front pockets, they give you access to your essentials. The backpack is very light. The only downside is that the backpack wobbles a bit when running, but that doesn't bother me. Overall the backpack is comfortable, I've used it on runs from 3 to 9 miles.
