Yes, I was able to use my GP Session ball cap mount and didn't have it in the waterproof case. The sound was great and not dull. This is the best little camera I've found to replace my GP Session and it doesn't have the fisheye effect that my old GP is famous for. In addition, the wonderful little camera has image stabilization that eliminates this stuttering effect. Now I have more confidence in my videography than ever before. On top of that, you get a box full of adapters that fit the GP devices. Recordings in 4K. Waterproof case. 2 batteries, charging cable, external microphone and more. What else, oh yes, there is an easy to follow guide that comes in many languages. So if you haven't tried this camera yet, you've EVER missed out on a lot in a small, excellent camcorder.
