Illumination of the letters is not visible, there is no glue

There is no glue on this keyboard cover so it doesn't stay in place and shift every time I open the MacBook cover. Also, you CANNOT see the letters backlight through this keyboard cover. You can see the backlight on the outside of the letters, but the actual backlight of the letters/characters cannot be seen at night or in a dark room.
