So happy I have a year's supply of these. I have very thin, brittle, flaky, flaky, ribbed nails. I use two different oils in the morning and evening as these symptoms worsen with age. These buffers always seemed to work, making the nail as smooth and impenetrable as possible without buffing. However, I think the text explaining the order of use is wrong: it should say step 3 is white and step 4 is grey, the final buff. After reading some other reviews it occurred to me that some instructions might be helpful: shape the nail with the blue part, smooth the top of the nail to remove burrs and bumps, with the pink part, smooth the Continue top of the nail with the white part and finally buff the top of the nail to a slight shine by buffing the gray part.
