Very bright and meets spec BUT ILLEGAL
These headlights are as bright as the spec says BUT when blue headlights are used as exterior lighting on your vehicle they are illegal in most states . I didn't know this fact when I bought the headlights and used them as daytime running lights. As a result, the New York State Police stopped me twice, told me the light was illegal, and fined me. My guess is that in NYC only white and amber lights are allowed in the front and only red lights in the rear. A little advice; Check state laws before purchasing these lights.
