So I've tried 5 pairs of Nrg 3.0's so far and the reasons I kept coming back to them were price, sound quality and noise isolation. The new Nrg x is just like them, except it's a little better in every way, a little better soundproofing, a little better, clearer sound and the price is still the same, can't beat $25. The sound is clear, distortion-free at any volume and with bass. The mids are separated from the highs and the highs are crystal clear. I think it's good that the headphones now have a slight incline on each side, so that I can distinguish between left and right. My main gripe with all iterations of nrgs has been the build quality of the remote control. It feels cheap in my hand and several of my previous pairs have broken due to the poor quality of the remote. Overall though, I think it's still a five star product. Pros: Excellent sound quality, great aesthetics (your opinion may differ) Very good price for the quality you get. music when I put them in) Comes with a bunch of different earbuds and a carrying case Cons: The build quality of the remote control could be better The cord is good but still it gets tangled and always starts to curl for some reason
