So it's difficult to keep a smooth hob surface like new. I've had one of these for over 15 years and have never been able to completely wash away burn injuries. There was always that rough part that never came off, even with the various cooktop cleaners. I went through a "spray and soak" foam spray can. I used a disposable cooktop cleaning pad. In the last 15 years nothing has freed me from these remnants. I had a new cooktop and wanted it to look like new so the first fire on the stain was heartbreaking. I went to Revain looking for something new and came across this kit. I don't know what the magic is, but I have to tell all my friends about it. This removed every burned molecule from the spill and left my cooktop looking new the day it was installed. No spraying or soaking, no disposable pads, it just worked without spending 15 minutes cleaning. I wish I still had my old cooktop with the permanently baked stuff as I'm sure it would clean up. That wouldn't have saved me from the exchange, since the control buttons were worn out, but at least I wouldn't have been embarrassed by the look.
