Review on ELAC Uni-Fi 2.0 UC52 Center Speaker - Black (UC52-BK) by Kenneth Stanford

A solid, beautiful and powerful center speaker that unfortunately promises more than it delivers. A bit bass-heavy and a bit flat in the mids, the Uni-Fi 2.0 UC52 is a strong addition to the surround scene, but with annoying limitations. full sound stage under the big screen TV. I could also say that for the center channel speaker, I had to put my ear to the 5.25" woofer to see if it was transmitting sound. At mid-range frequencies this helped little, and where it helped it added more attenuation than clarity. Look, this is really a solid performer, but so - with flaws. It absolutely revitalized my system. If only he had the clear, complete clarity I had hoped for. This did not happen and was therefore very reluctantly returned. More work required.
