Review on Tsukineko SZ000031 StazOn Multi-Surface Inkpad, Full-Size - Jet Black by Tony Blanco

I've been using the Jet Black Tsukineko Full Size ink pad almost every day for about 9 months and it's still as deep as the day I bought it. Mine didn't have a protective inner liner when I received it to protect freshness, so I'm impressed that there is still so much ink in this stamp pad after so many years and frequent use. You don't have to put in much effort with this color either. With a gentle push, your stamp will be filled with ink, ready to stamp and in full colour. When used correctly, there are absolutely no areas where the media is printed. I have used this ink pad in many different ways. When stamping on paper, the ink does not spread and the image remains clear. One of my favorite and most common uses for this stamp pad is as a copper etch resist. When I use this ink to print on copper the opacity is even and it dries quickly and evenly until washed off. Rubbing alcohol does an excellent job of removing ink from copper. It holds up well with the etching technique I use and gives me clear engraved images on my copper. The smell is quite strong, like cherries, but not too strong. It also peels off my stamps easily which is nice as some other ink pads I've used haven't peeled off either and messed up my stamps. I didn't get any marks from this mascara. I would recommend this stamp pad to a friend just for how long it lasts! Worth the money and great quality!
