Easy to Use Time Lapse Camera - Amazing Videos!

Here is a product I didn't even know I had until I received it. I've always wanted to get into time-lapse photography, but I didn't want to leave my expensive Canon camera for two weeks only to find that it didn't work or, worse, was stolen. So it was an elusive goal that I had yet to achieve. This camera (more so than it looks) does its job and makes it incredibly easy. Basically, fill it up with 12 AA batteries (yes, 12, buy in bulk), attach it to a pole, tree, tripod, etc., power it up, and set it to work in one to shoot at any interval. I set mine to 30 seconds and let it run for a week and was blown away by the quality and ease of use. I've since ventured to place it on a local mountain and I'll let it run for a month and see how it goes. I can't wait to see the results! As with anything, there are some pros and cons. Pros: - Easiest time-lapse camera to use - Batteries last for a full month plus usage - Device is durable and can withstand harsh environments - Great photos (don't stop him with a low MP, he takes great photos!) Cons; - Mount options included - Rubbish, luckily it's a tripod mount - Way more than I expected - Batteries, he loves them and needs 12 of them - Expensive, expensive for its sole function. All in all, it appears to be a surveillance camera repurposed for time-lapse photography. The software and hardware work well and are reliable and well made. The included accessories are rubbish and they don't have an SD card either, which isn't a big deal, but I've noticed that most of them have at least a small card. However, for long recording times you need a big one, so this is a moot point. I'm pretty happy with it though and combined with 100 AA batteries from Amazon Basics I should get a solid 6 months of use from it. If you want to shoot slow motion without spending a lot of money on your DSLR or an expensive phone, then this is a great option that's designed for both slow motion and outdoor use.

Pros
  • SLOW PHOTO: Capture a collection of 2 MP (1920 x 1080P) still images over a period of time and combine the shots to create time-lapse or time-lapse videos, ideal for capturing construction projects, crowds, traffic, art and nature suit .
Cons
  • Long Delivery Time
