I bought a large size for my chinchilla. She has enough space to lie down. I hesitated to buy this because she had a hammock and didn't like it. This product is very durable and doesn't wobble when it bounces which I think was an issue with the hammock. The only thing I don't like about it is how often I have to clean it because she pees in it. I didn't think she would pee where she sleeps, but she does. There is a removable liner that I hand wash every week and I hand wash the whole house once every two weeks. It's just a pain to clean but she loves it.
