I bought this pillow for my wife to use while driving. Suffice to say, modern bucket seats and my wife don't get along. The problem is less in the back than in the shoulder. Your ideal seat would be a flat back bench seat, good luck finding one. Bucket seats tend to have such a curvature that they tend to push your arm and shoulder forward. Not a big deal for most people, but if you've had shoulder surgery it can be very frustrating. We actually made decisions about which cars to buy based on how good or bad the bucket seat was for her shoulder. We've tried many homemade solutions that don't work very well and look like crap. The Xtreme Comforts cushion works great and is stylish enough to fit in the interior of the car. No more giant pieces of foam in the front seat.
