I was excited for this product so my toddler could see what I'm doing in the kitchen and having her be hands on. The instructions has images, which is helpful but still confusing because of the different pieces. The parts are labeled with stickers but some of the stickers were missing. As we assembled the final piece, we noticed things weren't lining up and the screws wouldn't go in at all. And, the wood started to split in some places. We ordered another to see if maybe we just got a dud. Right from the start, two of the pieces didn't line up properly for it to be screwed in. After a little while and manipulating the pieces, we could get the screws in, but it didn't look right . areas where the pieces should have been level where the ends meet, were sticking up and uneven. Then, started to notice the wood splitting yet again. It wasn't overtightened, especially since we had to move the pieces in weird way to even get the screw holes to line up. At that point, we stopped and disassembled it and put it back in the box. Between the two we bought, the quality is inconsistent and it seems like whoever drilled the holes for the screws, did so in a hurry. The coloring was also streaky and I just wasn't confident in letting my toddler stand on this knowing the wood was splitting in several places. I returned both and bought a similar item from another manufacturer.
