Great product, but (theoretically) works great.

Without a doubt a great product. It was exactly what I wanted and was looking for. In practice it's not 100% as perfect as I thought. The product is not to blame. But I want to share my observations/experiences. It comes in great packaging - a carry case with instructions for you to store it in. And a blue tote bag. I plan to keep both. One for at home, one for on the go. The materials are excellent. I've looked at many of these over the course of a few months, but they always looked cheap, had "ribs or edges" at the material joints, and/or were blown off. They were never worth it. But this one turned out exactly how I wanted it - the materials and construction match. The softness is at its best here. I could lie on it with my feet or my head for hours - just because of its softness. The inner cushion is also soft - it gives you great cushioning and gives but retains its support for a secure, confident position. The velcro straps are detachable at both ends - leave them on or take them off, whichever suits you best. Durability is excellent and I am sure this item will last a very long time. I didn't pay much attention to the washing element. My wife did just that: you can hand wash the outside or on a gentle cycle. She highly recommends using a laundry bag to protect it when you machine wash it. No dryer - hang to dry. We wash most things (fabrics) before use. But I never risked it - it's too cool. I'm sure the day will come. Use a strap or not: it's up to you. I do. It's easy to adjust and fits my foot perfectly (I need to lose some weight so it's more than I want, but it fits well. It stays put. You can really put it anywhere) - knee, thigh or hamstring, lower leg, calf area. everything works. I've had it on top of my leg for a long time, trying a knee I didn't like and not one bit lower. right leg, then put it on the right side, worked great, lay on the lower leg and carried the weight of the thigh, I slept great. It didn't work and was uncomfortable for me. It wasn't bad - it wasn't painful or anything - it was just weird and there was no support. It was wrong. It's all my business - personally - so take it with a grain of salt. I went to take it off, tried flashing it and the wheels came off in my experience. First, the velcro is so loud it woke my wife up. It's the middle of the night (3:30 am) and she was woken up by the tugging on the velcro - her hard time. Then I tried to get back on the other leg, but under the covers and half asleep I was irritable and irritable. So I would use it without straps. I tried to find a way to force install and stay but it didn't work. I had to adapt all the time - I mean seconds, not minutes. I couldn't get comfortable. So I gave up, threw it on the chest by the bed, went to the bathroom and then just gave up for the night. Since then I've only used it on one side. Trying to switch in the middle of the night is too frustrating. If you need to flip it, I just peel it off - I don't undo the velcro. So this is my experience. It works out. It's good. He has the right idea. But until I figure out how to use it, I'll only be using it part of the night. You don't have to carry it on your back. But I can only wear it on one leg on one side. But I can't say anything negative about the product itself. I give it 5 stars because it deserves it, but I'm also frustrated. But yes, I will continue to use it.
